Why The Tax Summit

The Annual Tax Summit (ATS) is one Kenya Revenue Authority’s (KRA) prime platforms for stakeholder engagement, policy influencing and knowledge exchange around tax and customs issues. The Summit brings together actors from various Tax Administrations, as well as other key stakeholders (private sector, policy experts, think tanks, academia, media and civil society) to deliberate on solutions for various tax challenges affecting Africa tax administrations. It also a public participation platform aimed at enhancing discussions, providing status of interventions in tax and customs administration and facilitating feedback from stakeholders on solutions and ideas that aid and promote tax and customs administration best practice.
